John Joyce Named Senior Director, Industrial Brokerage

12-year industry veteran has completed deals exceeding 550,000 SF

Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. has revealed that John Joyce has been appointed senior director, industrial brokerage. Formerly a first vice president with CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Joyce brings 12 years of commercial brokerage experience to Cushman & Wakefield. He is located in the firm's suburban Rosemont offices.

Since 1995, Mr. Joyce has completed more than 500 real estate transactions in the Chicago Metropolitan area with an aggregate value of more than $550,000,000.

Mr. Joyce will report to C&W Executive Managing Director and Midwest Area Leader Michael P. McKiernan, who lauded Mr. Joyce's approach to the disposition of commercial real estate. "John has succeeded throughout his career by employing the consultative, knowledge-based approach to brokerage that Cushman & Wakefield is known for," Mr. McKiernan said. "He walked in the door with a full understanding of the tremendous impact that a full-service platform can have on an individual broker's success rate in such a competitive market."

John grew up in Chicago's North Shore area and graduated from Loyola Academy in Wilmette. He went on to attend Indiana University in Bloomington, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Mr. Joyce is a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), the Northwest & Schaumburg Association of Commerce & Industry, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate. He resides in Winnetka, IL, with his wife, Kelly, daughters, Jessica and Kiersten, and son, Johnny.
