  • Cushman & Wakefield Brokers the Sale of Fountain Park Shopping Center

    17 Jan, 2006, Atlanta, GA

Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta Office has brokered the sale of Fountain Park Shopping Center in Columbus, Georgia on behalf of Harbor Group International.  Kris J. Cooper and Margaret K. Caldwell of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Harbor Group, in the transaction.

Phillips Edison & Company, based in Baltimore, Maryland, acquired the 107,980 square foot, Winn-Dixie and TJ Maxx anchored neighborhood center, which is located near the intersection of Macon Road and Avalon Road.

"The sale of Fountain Park reflects the retail capital markets' continued recognition of anchored shopping centers in second tier cities in the Southeast as favored acquisition targets." said Kris Cooper, a Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
