GWCAR Honors Include Two "Leasing Transaction of the Year" Awards

Cushman & Wakefield was honored by the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) as the Brokerage Firm of the Year and saluted for negotiating two of the largest leasing transactions in the Washington Metro area at their April 7th awards dinner.

Audrey Cramer, Louis Christopher, Michael Katcher and Malcolm Marshall were honored with Virginia's Leasing Transaction of the Year Award for their work on behalf of the Corporate Executive Board's relocation to Waterview in Rosslyn. The 620,000 square foot deal was the largest private sector lease executed in the Washington Metropolitan area. Mark Minich received Maryland's Leasing Transaction of the Year Award for his negotiation of the 202,147 square foot headquarters relocation for the Mills Corporation, a self-managed real estate investment trust who will relocate from Virginia to Chevy Chase Maryland in 2006.
