Acreage in Albany hopes to follow in the development footsteps of Target and
Lowe's
Cushman & Wakefield announced today they have been retained to market a large,
privately-owned property in Albany, Oregon. The property is comprised of 193 acres of land
adjacent to the SP rail line and Highway 99, and approximately two miles from I-5.
"It's fair to say this is the largest contiguous industrial zoned site along the I-5
corridor from Washington down to California," says Paul Carlson, Director at Cushman &
Wakefield. Carlson and Mark McClung of Cushman & Wakefield represent the land owners.
Albany has made real estate news frequently in the past few years. Target Stores built a
huge regional distribution center in Albany across the highway from the property. More
recently, Lowe's announced their intentions to build a 1,358,103 square foot Regional
Distribution Center in nearby Lebanon, Oregon.
