Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker's drive to become a leading full service firm in
Manchester received a major boost today with the appointment of Tony Bray, the former director
of agency and development at Dunlop Haywards who joins C&W/H&B in Manchester as head
of business space. The announcement follows two other major appointments; Mark
Walsh, formerly of Dunlop Haywards and Andrew Pickett, an independent consultant, who
will head the landlord tenant division and a brand new national restaurants division
respectively. They join Retail specialist Paul Nichols who was appointed earlier this
year to manage and grow the office.
Tony Bray moves to C&W/H&B's Manchester office from Dunlop Haywards where he
joined 2001 and was Director of Agency & Development responsible for a team of 10.
Prior to Dunlop Haywards, Tony worked at Weather Green and Smith.
The appointments come after C&W/H&B's announcement earlier this year that it was to
open a Manchester office in response to the firm’s growth in activity in the region. The
firm also has regional UK offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Thames Valley as well as a City
of London office and its European headquarters in London's West End. An announcement on
the location of the Manchester office is imminent.
Adrian Hill, head of business space at C&W/H&B said "We have set out to
establish a leading full service practice in Manchester. It is one of the most exciting
and dynamic cities in Europe and more and more of our clients are looking at it as a location
for business be it for office space, industrial space or retail units. This appointment
of three key people is the second major step in the development of the office following the
appointment of Paul Nichols to head the operation."
C&W/H&B will offer a full range of services to clients from the Manchester office
and is currently recruiting in all key sectors including retail, investment, business space and
professional services.
