The first Deli kantyna brand restaurant will open in the Palladium shopping centre
in early September. This is a new concept by the author of the popular Kolkovna format.
It will also be the largest restaurant in the Palladium.
The idea to locate the Deli kantyna in the Palladium came from Cushman &
Wakefield’s Retail Team, which is in charge of letting the retail outlets in the
shopping centre.
“The Deli kantyna format is based on rural cuisine and caters to the customer’s
time restrictions. The outlet will be divided into three sectors – a delicatessen with a
baker’s offering home-made jams, a restaurant with seasonal Czech meals on offer, and a
summer terrace. For example, customers can look forward to game specialities in the
autumn,” says Deli kantyna’s Jan Chaloupka.
“The traditional Czech cuisine has not been represented on the Palladium’s
Gourmet Floor as yet. Deli kantyna is a fitting addition to the existing range of international
cuisines and fast food. We are convinced that the Palladium is the right location for the first
restaurant of this type where customers choose the contents and flavours of their meals. Guests
can also look forward to breakfast menus and, last but not least, draught Czech beer,”
says Ivan Michněvič from C&W’s Retail Team who was involved in the
transaction.
The restaurant has a floor area of 930 square metres including a seasonal terrace and is
situated on the Gourmet Floor.
