Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Temco Service Industries has signed a long-term
lease to relocate its corporate and divisional offices to 417 Fifth Avenue, located at the
southeast corner of 38th Street.
Temco, an international leader in facilities services that provides janitorial, building
maintenance & security services for a wide range of clients including large corporations,
tenanted office buildings, and college, university and K-12 public or independent schools, has
relocated its US headquarters and NYC divisional offices from One Park Avenue to 417 Fifth
Avenue. Temco will occupy 22,000 square feet on part of the 9th floor of the 11-story, Midtown
Manhattan office building.
Cushman & Wakefield, led by David Stockel, Peter Van Duyne, John Picco and Andrew Weisz
represented the tenant in the transaction. Roxana Girand of Murray Hill Properties represented
the landlord, 417 Fifth Avenue LLC.
"417 Fifth Avenue provided an opportunity for Temco to occupy highly-improved, built
space that was left in great condition by the previous tenant," said Stockel, a Cushman
& Wakefield Associate Director.
"This Midtown Manhattan location allows Temco to maintain convenience and easy access
for our customers, partners and employees whilst realizing efficiency through consolidating our
New York City office space," said Henrik Thomassian, Temco's President & Chief
Executive Officer.
Temco has approximately 10,000 employees that service close to 200 million square feet of
facilities daily for local and multinational customers in the United States and Europe.
