State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) carries out first acquisition in France

Axa Real Estate has reached, on behalf of one of their clients, an agreement to sell their property located at 8 Place Vendôme in Paris (75001), to an indirectly owned subsidiary ofSOFAZ, for €135 M.
This mixed trophy building comprises 5 400 sq.m and is let to prestigious tenants, notably Valentino for the office space and Dior and Mikimoto for the retail space.
Axa Real Estate was advised by notary, Cheuvreux. SOFAZ was advised by notary Lasaygues & Associés, law firm Allen & Overy and Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group.
