SOFINEL, a subsidiary of EDF and Areva, has signed a 9 year lease for 8,500 sq.m. in the
Viva office building located in Malakoff, in the Paris region.
Viva is owned by funds managers MGPA and CarVal Investors and will comprise 17,000 sq.m. of
office space upon completion. Architects Arte Charpentier designed the building which benefits
from excellent transport links both by road (Paris ring-road is just a kilometre away) and by
public transport (metro line 13 and the Transilien railway).
The green building will be delivered in June 2013 and will benefit from both environmental
labels: HQE and BBC.
CarVal Investors and MGPA are delighted with this significant lettings transaction which was
closed 6 months before the delivery of the building. They are also confident about letting the
rest of the available space, which benefits from gardens and terraces.
In this transaction, Cushman & Wakefield advised the landlords and the tenant. Lawyers,
Lefèvre Pelletier & Associates, advised MGPA and Carval Investors and De Pardieu Brocas
Maffei advised Sofinel (EDF/AREVA).
